D&V has over 25 years of experience in rotating electrical test systems; improving on each generation to include features like LIN/BSS/CAN communication for alternators or start/stop starters. As the alternators and starters have progressed D&V has also proactively progressed the test systems technologies. To highlight our durability, some of our early-generation products are still being used today and our current generation systems are in constant operation worldwide. D&V Electronics understands the interactions between the components and the final product so our test systems complement each other; testing a diode or rectifier and then the final alternator will provide consistent results.

D&V is the test system supplier of choice for OEMs, Tiered Suppliers, and Remanufacturers, and our relationship with each of them has triggered D&V to develop test systems that are identical but flexible. Our starter and alternator test system use the same hardware and software, but it is our unique DVPro Software which adds versatility. With DVPro Software a single test system can easily be programed to run thousands of different part numbers which is something that remanufacturing desire. Tiered Supplier and OEMs have the ability to program unique one-off tests without affecting production parts so that they can evaluate new products or product changes. Lastly because each has D&V equipment and DVPro Software the results and procedures can be shared with minimal correlation variation.
